The Government of Indonesia has adopted a strategy for mitigating Covid-19 transmission based on three key hygiene behaviours: handwashing with soap (HWWS), proper use of facemasks and physical distancing, so-called 3M. In line with the government strategy, The USAID-BANTU project commits to support the implementation of the HWWS through strengthening the coordination.
TSB has been commissioned by the USAID-Bantu project to provide technical support to the national Covid-19 Task Force National on strengthening the holistic and coordinated approach for RCCE and HWWS implementation and monitoring compliance in Indonesia.
TSB, during the period of the consultancy conducted a situation analysis as well as created HWWS task force, led by MoH. These activities are mean to be the basis for the government HWWS road map that will be developed in 2021.
